Architectural Vectorization
This series started as a way to challenge myself and grow in my skills regarding vector art and illustration. I started by choosing some stock imagery of buildings and architecture, especially if the images had a certain flatness or angularity that would lend itself to the next step. I then traced over the images with vector shapes to reconstruct a flat, stylized interpretation. Color palettes were simplified, distortion from camera lenses were reduced, and extraneous elements removed. Overall, I found the project rather interesting and I enjoy the final products.
